Title

James L. Breckenridge Portrait

Description

This portrait of US Marine James L Breckenridge has little information, and was found while combing through the National Archives online records.  Besides the name and date, we don't know much else, only that he was on Palmyra at that time, likely as a stopover on his way to the Pacific front.

Little information about Breckenridge is available, besides images of his gravesite, which you can view here.  He died in 1975, having survived the war, then a woman named Arlene, who served in the Navy during WW2.
